EXTENSIÓN CABOTAJE Hemos recibido información del Departamento de Transportes del Reino Unido de que, a partir del 28 de octubre, se permite la realización de operaciones del cabotaje en Gran Bretaña (no se incluye Irlanda del Norte) durante los 14 días siguientes a la entrada en carga en ese territorio, sin limitación en el número de operaciones. La medida se aplicará no solo a transportistas de la Unión Europea, sino a transportistas de otros países que utilicen autorizaciones CEMT y permisos bilaterales. Estará en vigor hasta el 30 de abril de 2022, aunque podrá ser revocada con anterioridad. Adjuntamos la nota recibida. Letter - Cabotage Extension Notification ECMT Temporary Extension to Cabotage in Great Britain This open letter is to notify you that the UK has introdu ced a temporary extension to cabotage rules, which, following legislative changes comes into effect from today, 28 October 2021. The temporary additional cabotage rights being permitted wi ll run for six months to 30 April 2022, and allow cabotage: within Great Britain 1 ; for a period of 14 days, with the first day being when a laden entry into the United Kingdom was made, with no limitation during that period on the number of cabotage journeys permitted. to be undertaken by operators from any country, irrespective o f whether they are in the EU, or covered by an ECMT or bilateral permit arrangement. Should the measure be withdrawn prior to 30 April 2022 we will notify Road Transport Group Delega tes as soon as possible.
